A whole weekend full of Counter-Strike, fun and excitement…
A total prize money of $100,000…
Sounds like a dream?
It is. One that came true live at the Esport Factory last March weekend.
Numerous Esport and gaming enthusiasts visited the UML Finals from 29th to 31st March and feverishly participated in the sometimes very tight rounds of their favourites.
The four teams Sprout, Windigo, Valiance and GamerLegion, who came from different countries and prepared for the tournament in our premises, took part. A sensation for the German team Sprout, because for the first time in history the UML Finals were held in Germany.
After Valiance had defeated the GamerLegion in the semi-final on Saturday with 2:0 and Windigo took the hope for the trophy from the Sprout team with 2:1, Windigo and Valiance met again in an incredibly exciting final on Sunday.
Towards late evening the winner was determined: Windigo was defeated by Valiance 1:2 and the winners of the 50.000 Dollar celebrated in our holy halls until the early morning hours.
Also the game for 3rd place took place on Sunday. The GamerLegion defeated Sprout with 2:1 and made it with a prize money of 15,000 dollars on the podium.
It’s too bad that the UML Finals are over again…
But we are already looking forward to the next big event with you and the professionals as guests!
